Small and easy ways of adding nutritional gains into family meals is one of my constant kitchen aims! Seeds are packed with dietary fibre, protein, iron, healthy fats and many antioxidants. This might be our most useful recipe – you can sprinkle these everywhere! They add a really tasty crunch to salads (meaning you need less dressing), they are super on soups and they are great mixed with breadcrumbs to make chicken or fish fingers (I miss out the chilli flakes and halve the salt if I’m cooking for the children). This is a salty savoury recipe but don’t forget that without salt and chilli, whole seeds or ground seeds are also a super breakfast porridge, pancake or yogurt topping. However you use them, you’ll feel satiated and fuller for longer. Enjoy!
